Welcome to my inaugural blog posting! Please be patient with me, as this is also my first time keeping a blog of any sorts.

The purpose of this blog, is to keep friends, family and colleagues up-to-date on my internship in Padang, West Sumatra, without filling inboxes with unwanted spam. I will be keeping this updated regularly (once a week I hope) and encourage your comments, be they advice, questions or well wishes.
